Christmas Cookies

In the advent time, the danube-networkes met at the “Museum der Brotkultur” in Ulm to get in the mood for Christmas. Together they prepared some Christmas sweets which are very typical in Germany. The so called “Plätzchen” are some special Christmas cookies which are baked some weeks before Christmas to enjoy them during the whole advent time. There is a wide range of varieties, from Springerle to cinnamon stars. And der are no limits to creativity.

The baking and the decoration of this cookies is a lot of fun and is almost celebrated by the hobby bakers, but also the eating is a pleasure for young and old.
